Post subject: UPDATED ICCULUS ROTT!!
Should've put this earlier.
http://icculus.org/rott/
A much needed update to the icculus source port of Rott was posted a few weeks ago, placing it at release 1.1. It includes many bug fixes, as well as many features as a result of merging the codebase of birger's winrott, the rpm fedora linux port, and many others. Check the readme for a complete list. What's cooler is that work is ongoing, and they're planning for a 2.0 release!
However, there are a few errors that need to be corrected. The most obvious one is the jerky mouse movement, a problem that is present in winrott as well as glrott too. Apparently, it has to do with the mouse movement code in the SDL files compiled in the port. The music playback code is broken as well, and theres no music playing, although there is in-game sounds.
Anyways, go there, download the port, and , enjoy!
