Well that is very odd...but at least you can get it working.

How do you feel about the new info plane setup?

Hmm, those pre-defined info plane setup is not bad...
But I found this program is slow with no reason, like use wheel-up/wheel-down and the program is not response for some seconds or minutes...

Well, after I mess around with it, I still like ROTTed more, but I'm not say it's bad, just I perfer... Razz

Oddly enough the wheel up and down does nothing on my computer Confused

And thats perfectly fine. We all have are preferences in editors, lets just see if we can help make this one a bit better in the end Smile

The mouse wheel zooms in and out of the map for me. Is that what you're talking about Player-Lin?

I'm still trying to get used to it. I find it a little quirkier than RMD (things like only being able to draw one tile at a time for instance) but I definitely see value in it. I'm currently using it in tandem with RMD as the pair of them seem to cover all bases for me.

PlayerLin, what are the specs of your computer (is it a laptop with built-in GPU for instance) Also, what kind of mouse do you have and do you have the drivers installed for it? What anti-virus program do you use? And what OS are you running (Windows XP, Ubuntu Linux etc).

Maybe there is some kind of conflict going on. I know that I had funny errors with RMD on one model of laptop but have had no problems on another. There seemed to be a conflict between my Logitech Unifying receiver and my computer - quite a bizarre thing but now all is well. Smile

A desktop (computer), has onboard GPU but I'm using a graphic card because onboard GPU sucks. :p

Specs: (not fully)
CPU:AMD A64 X2 3600+ @ 2.0GHz
RAM:2GB(1GBx2)
GPU:MSI NX8600GT-OC 256MB (with 257.21 driver)
Windows XP SP3

The mouse just some cheap shit and don't needed driver for it.
I'm using Kaspersky Internet Security 9.0.0.736

Well, I guess my Kaspersky really don't like the editor...but I can't really sure is it(Kaspersky) really broke the editor or not...

Well, if it helps any, I used to use Kaspersky years ago but I found I had a lot of problems with games installing properly (mainly Ubisoft and their crappy DRM). I've used Avast! ever since and my machine not only responds quicker I don't get any hassles from software. And no false positives on web sites. Smile

AVG isn't bad but it's got a little slower and bloated lately... Smile

If I were you I'd uninstall Kaspersky, try out Avast! and make a new folder with the editor in it. See how you get on. Smile

Hope so as well Smile

Though here's a question. I noted when I try to select a texture on the new RMD-like texture window, I don't get the texture I clicked on. Is that happening to you as well?

It seems to be working fine for me though I have a similar problem placing baddies... ?

Do you get any texture at all or is like you've not clicked on anything. My issue's the latter...

My problem is when I select which wall type I want it give me something else. Say I click on the lava wall on the window, over on the other side of the program it will show me that I selected a brown wall texture despite the fact I clicked on the lava wall.

Haven't had to much problems with selecting badies though...but then again I haven't tested it much.
