I was thinking of the shareware birthday yesterday and it got me thinking about all the comments over the past months regarding The HUNT Begins. Those thoughts kinda rattled around in my empty skull for a while and they lead on to wondering if anybody actually owns the full game. I know everyone will have downloaded the shareware but what about the full game?

If you do own it, what format do you own it in? Do you have the big box version, floppy version, download from GOG? Or do you actually have a collection of every release of the game still sealed in a glass cabinet?! Share your tales... Smile

For the record, I own the GOG download release, the big black box with floppies, the big colour box with CD and a whole bunch of other bits and pieces. Maybe I'll take a photo later! Razz

I had the original retail version of the game, as well as Extreme ROTT. The former was on floppy, I think, which is long lost. The latter came on CD, and I still have it. Extreme ROTT...ya can't beat it!

A signed copy of the game would be awesome to have. That'd be some real good special diehard fan item! Very Happy Shocked

I actually own the CD version of the game, but sadly the actual box it came in is long gone...lost to the sands of time. Though the cd and everything is just fine. Never even knew there was an Extreme ROTT for some time, thus was never lucky enough to get ahold of one.

I have the CD version and a couple of shareware versions. Playing the registered version the first time was AMAZING.

I still remember the first time I played it. It was around 2002 when I found out my grandpa owned the game, installed and loaded it, and was wondering how in the hell I missed this back in the day Razz

If you saw my computer room, you wouldn't have to ask, I keep the rest of
my house clean, but my computer room has manuals, magazines, cds, dvds, floppies, old computer hardware (isa stuff for example, and a 486 mb),
cables, printouts, etc, all laying around in no real order....
