Is it me, or generally are the Hunt Begins levels more well designed that the dark war ones? maybe the creators spent more time luring the people in, so that would buy the more expensive dark war?.
Also on which level do you find the secret map 'too tall' and where abouts is it Smile thanks

I'd have to agree with Oak Man here, DarkWar has many interesting levels, my favorite being the Vomitorium. Hehehehe Very Happy

I whole-heartedly agree.
In fact, the Extreme ROTT levels were the inspiration for my levels.

Well, I went with The HUNT Begins simply because I much prefer the first couple of levels. The beginning of the first level of THB has a much greater impact as you jump into an 'arena' where you can instantly blast baddies away with a rocket launcher... Cool!

Well...think its time for a confession

I have only played the first level of the shareware version and haven't even touched Extreme ROTT. On top of that I have not actually fully finished Dark War Embarassed

Ha! Well then my levels are surely going to be SUPER EXTREME. If you can get through my levels, all the others will be a cakewalk... You're only 15% through the first of my 7 levels, so you have a lot more to go. Smile

That, sir, is shameful! Razz

TBH, I've never completed the full version of ROTT myself. I keep getting humped from Oscuro... Sad As you can tell I'm not a very talented gamer!

I highly recommend playing through the Lasesoft version of the shareware episode as it has extra levels unavailable elsewhere. It's a really nice set of maps. Oh, and stay away from Extreme ROTT unless you're really in control of your temper or you'll be rage-quitting all over the place! Smile

HA!!! Extreme ROTT contains by far the best levels, in my opinion. My levels were inspired by them. I hope that doesn't mean you'll give up on playing mine! Smile

Oh no, you're scaring me now! I thought I was doing well after completing the first level. A bit worried now!

PS/OT: I notice I can edit my posts in this thread...?

Haha, well keep going and let me know how it goes. I'm always willing to give hints or make videos to explain things...
