Right, there are a total of four pushwalls (two in one place, already mentioned) before you reach the mob of invisible enemies.

Now, to add a little more into the mix, did you know that there are 2 (yes, two) God Mode powerups in the first level?

Not that I want anyone lingering too long on the first stinky level, but I thought I'd throw that out there. Smile

Alright, got a little to play some more and just finished level three Smile

I have got to say that is the most evil use of an elevator I have ever seen Mike. The first part of that level is what I imagine hell to be like. Going in an elevator, listening to cheesy elevator music, then BOOM elevator gone and you in a small room getting shot at. Then you have to run around a maze like place...which was evil for me as I + rockets in small corridors = me dying alot Razz.

But I was really impressed by that massive room. First by the fact the engine allows you to see that far, and second by how it appealed to the combat guy inside me. I just LOVED running around that room avoiding all the rockets and missiles that where being thrown at me. Shame I chose to draw in all those monks instead of just rushing out there, bet it would have been even more fun with them involved.

And just when I though it couldn't get any better...you pull a false exit on me Smile I just love this level overall for its evil factor and interesting tricks. Great job on this one mike.

That's when you put away the rockets and use the MP40 almost exclusively. I kill 90% of enemies with the MP40, personally, saving the rockets for the Enforcers and Death Monks (who shoot more than bullets at you).

Heh, that's how I solved it too. Smile

The next level (called "Just Give Up") is one of my very favorites. Parts of it are very difficult, too. But there's one memorable part that's quite whacky, and I look forward to your reaction to it. (Think "spinning GADs").

Okay, I've finished going through all my levels and splitting up the ones that were "too big" and causing errors. One level I had to split into four parts! I also had a few ideas for a new level and ended up scratching my creative itch by creating a new one. So now there are seven distinct levels split up into a total of 15 parts. So, that's 15 levels for all intents and purposes. A nice little episode, if you ask me! Smile

In the end, I think my favorite part is in "Just Give Up, Part 2". It involves a million enemies moving around, seemingly out of control. It's quite humorous to watch. I won't say much more, to avoid spoiling it.

Also, there are two puzzles that I'm rather proud of. My favorite is at the very beginning of "End Game" (the last level). The other is at the very beginning of "Pushed to the Limit". This is the one I had to work so hard in making sure Lorelei couldn't shortcut the puzzle with her incredible speed. Both involve going to great lengths to reach a key necessary to move forward. I look forward to seeing how others fare figuring these out. Smile

Anyway, I've gone through and played all my levels from start to finish (on the most difficult setting, to make sure it's possible to complete, although many parts are extremely difficult!). It look me about 4 hours to complete. I jotted down the game time (at the top of the screen) before exiting each level and added them all up. So the four hours does not include all the time I had to quickload a saved game when I got killed. Smile Also bear in mind that it took me 4 hours to get through my levels and I already know exactly what needs to be done--I know all the secrets. It will of course take everyone else quite a bit longer. So this should give you an idea of the size/complexity/length of my levels.

Since I made a few changes and tweaks to the levels as I went through them, I will be playing them all again from the start (for quality assurance) and then I'll upload the new and improved version for all (haha, all three of you) to see and play.

Glad to see your getting things worked out mike! This certainly is a time consuming rtl file, excellent for those look for a more in depth ROTT experience Smile

I'll get a little more time for level 4 tonight, and see if I can get in anymore feedback before a new release shows up.

Cool, I plan to re-play all the levels again over the next couple of days, and if all goes well and I don't notice any problems I have to correct, then I'll be uploading later this week. Once I do that, you can just finish the level you're on (assuming you're experiencing no crashes), and then get the new version and just use the cheat code /ECC GOTO to jump right to where you left off. The new level I just created, which I called "Interlude", has been interjected right before the last set of levels (called "End Game"), so all should be well.

So, you haven't experienced any game crashes with the version you're playing?

This is good news indeed Mike and jI look forward to playing our 'exclusive' edition.

To be honest, I'm struggling to get through your levels (stuck in 2!). There's nothing wrong with your maps or the game it's just that I'm not very good at games! It's a curse I have. I love gaming, the industry and the culture that's grown up around it over the years but I have never really improved since I was about 12! Oh well... Smile

Well, to be fair, my levels are very difficult (by design).
But, here's a little hint:

In many cases there are "easier" ways to get through areas than the obvious. For example, if you're in a room with a lot of fire, look around carefully for asbestos armor hidden somewhere before you get to that area. Not sure where you're stuck, but hopefully that helps. Smile

Also, any time you make any progress, even one tiny (but difficult) movement, quicksave it, so you won't have to repeat it!

Let me know if you need any specific help. Anything to help you keep moving. Smile

Nope, no real crashes on my end. Just that odd little slow down moment in WinRott I mentioned before, but that was likely just the engine.
