Sadly I haven't messed with Winrottgl, and am not familiar with the errors it can produce. Perhaps one of the other users here can assist you with this error. _________________ Head on over to the Rise of the Triad HQ for ROTT news, downloads, and more!

I can't help with the music error with a definite answer, unfortunately. Hopefully jbailey (he is one of the programmers) will pop in a help you.
However, I would recommend you re-download WinROTT and use a fresh install. If you don't want to do that you should go into your WinROTT folder and delete all the files that end with .ROT. The game will create these files again when you load it
Now, the crashes with the menus. I, too, have this problem. The best solution to this is to stay out the in-game controls menu. Instead, you can configure settings in the launcher.
Go to Settings and then choose Rott Menu Settings. You can set up everything from there and the game doesn't crash. |

From the main menu, select 'settings' then 'sound settings' you can try
selecting different audio codecs, and adjusting the other audio options,
I run windows xp pro x64, for testing, also delete the *.rot files and let
the game re-generate them, hopefully, this will help. |
