I just heard back from Cody. This is the entire reply verbatim:

"As long as there is no money involved, I'm OK with that."

So, we're good to go. Smile

I too would be interested in seeing work on Dark Realm being done Smile, but take your time if needed. I understand the desire to want to work/play/do other things at the moment.

I had asked him the same question right after my other post, but you beat me to his response. *shakes fist*

Anyway, time to update an installer.

Hey, would it be alright if I just link to that files location on the ROTTpository? It would save me from having to constantly reupload it again if you choose to make any future changes.

Actually, to be honest, that's what I thought you were going to do originally... Razz

So, go for it.
All I have to do is type two commands and a password to upload a newer version to my ftp.

Edit: Cute... It parsed the word "ftp" into a URL. Fixed.

Nope, I have it with the text displaying and it now places icons (With an option to skip this step.), but I am trying to figure out how to delete the shortcuts... It seems as if you can't use the same variable, and I might have to write a registry value so that the installer knows where to look. I can make it remove them from a set path inside the start menu, but nothing else really. Surprised

This installer has a slightly more modern interface to make it easy to put a banner uptop, it asks if you want to make a Start Menu shortcut, displays the text blurb that was typed up earlier this thread, and has better registry handling.

It was mainly me just learning how NSIS works... And I doubt anyone really cares about an installer anyway. I just wanted to make sure it had all of the functions normal installers do.

Hmm. I just tried it and I didn't get asked about shortcuts and I saw no text. That's why I asked, as I didn't notice anything different... Question
