Well, I tried again. I got this log from VDMS if it makes sense to anyone:

I'm using a different machine and I haven't set up DOSBox on it yet. But I'll get around to that at some point.
Anyway, just so that there's another game to talk about I'm going to make a fresh post. |

hmm...don't have a clue, though I have never used VDMS. Anytime I need to emulate something DOS related DOSbox always has me covered. I've never had a problem with the Catacomb games through it.

If I run the game with DOSBox I can get sound but the graphics aer flickery as all hell. If I play with VDMS I get better graphic stability but there's no sound. If I play without either the game just doesn't load.
I found some tweaks for DOSBox that might help but I haven't really had the time to try them out as yet, what, with all this ROTT stuff going on at the moment! Tough times!  |

ROTT activity sure has jumped hasn't it! Well I'll look around for some guides on tweaking these games to get them right, and I'll bother you about this again when things calm down

Thats my mentality as well! One of the main reasons I decided to give Hovertank 3D a try awhile back . I do enjoy playing the Catacomb games every now and then. Sad they didn't get more attention than they did.
