I'm looking at different web stuff just geeking up and it got me thinking. What do you lot use for your main browser? I use Chrome pretty much all the time with Firefox as a fall back.

Firefox.
It's deeply embedded in my psyche.
I keep trying Chrome but:

(1) I can't stand the window decorations, or lack thereof (minor point) and
(2) Most of the plugins I use aren't available for Chrome (major point).

Firefox is a VERY good browser. I was my primary browser for awhile before it started doing some weird crashing when opening it up half the time. I was using Chrome very little at the time...then after the Firefox crashing issue I just started using it more and more, then poof primary browser.

P.S: Lol at internet explorer, who still uses that anyway?

I'm half on FireFox, and half on Opera... Depends what I want to do.

For places like Reddit where I can get a whole crapton of tabs, I use Opera since it handles it well... I also installed AdBlock and whatnot for it... (Well, kinda anyway). I also use the built in IRC and special features rather commonly. It also seems to handle a lot of Scripting better. I also really like a lot of the shortcuts and themes.

For other browsing and searching I use Firefox because of it's better AdBlockPlus. It runs Flash much better, has a few cool plugins, and is overall a solid browser. My Firefox commonly looks a lot like Opera because of Strata40 and StrataBuddy. (It doesn't right now though)

That's pretty much what happened to me. I also find that Chrome is just so bloody fast! I used to use Opera all the time but I started running into compatibility issues on certain sites I visited regularly.

I put IE because I had heard that it had greatly improved over the past couple of iterations. But, to be honest, I'm a little scared to try it out myself!

Thats one of the reasons why I love Chrome Smile

And IE should just die already. Thats what it should get for killing off Netscape Navigator!

I use Firefox most of the time, but sometimes Chrome. Both are faster than IE8, which seems cumbersome and out of date.

Funnily enough, I was forced to use IE this morning on someone else's machine. Boy, does it feel dated. It was sooooo slloooww and clunky. I found it to be an excercise in frustration more than anything...

Actually, to be completely honest, IE9 isn't that bad... (At least compared to every other IE) It definitely isn't my preference, but it isn't as bad as people think because of it's previous incarnations.

I haven't used IE9. I was on an older install of XP and it still has IE8 on it. It really did feel old though...

Interesting that nobody uses Safari...
