To celebrate the birthday of The Hunt Begins I would like to announce a competition. The winner will receive a bona fide 3D Realms business card signed by Stephen Hornback, Lead Artitst on ROTT! There are only 3 of these cards left so this really is a proper ROTT collectible! This fine prize will be shipped to the winner at my own expense so there's really no reason to enter!
To take part in this once in a lifetime opportunity you'll have to get your creative juices flowing. You must create either a fan pic or (gasp!) a fan fiction relating to our fine game. It doesn't have to be anything too deep or too long and it doesn't have to look like Dali painted it or Byron wrote it. Just make sure you put a little love into it!
The competition will run until the birthday of Dark War (17 February) so that gives you ages to come up with an idea and implement it and it also means you can't blame being busy over Christmas for not entering!
So get cracking - I'm sure your all bursting with ideas!

I take it you mean you have no idea... If that's the case let me clarify. Create a picture of art using the media of your choice (computer art package, crayons, macaroni...) inspired by the game. It could be a cool wallpaper or a dramatic 'action' scene... whatever. Or write a story as long or short as you like. Anything from a paragraph setting a 'scene' to a full blown novel about why Taradino joined HUNT. Again, your choice.
Post the result (either directly or via a link) in this thread.

Ahhh, OK.
This requires creative ability. I'm not sure I have any of that (given the fact that absolutely no ideas come to mind).

P.S. Maybe I'll get out the elbow macaroni and see if I can re-create a ROTT scene.
