For those interested in original ROTT levels, I've created a single-player
level (MIKE1.RTL) and a COMM-BAT level (MIKE1.RTC).
You can get them here:

I would appreciate feedback.
Hopefully you enjoy them. I was able to complete the single-player
level on the hardest setting in about 40 minutes. On the easiest
setting, about 22 minutes.

UPDATE - I had a friend play the single-player level (MIKE1.RTL) and he identified a bug near the beginning where the player could get "stuck". I changed it to eliminate that bug. If you've already downloaded it, I recommend getting it again.

If you've already started playing it, and are past the first two rooms, into the room with the 5 firechutes in a row, then don't worry about it. 
I'm sure with more people playing it I'll have more updates in the future anyway.

I haven't received any feedback, so I'm not sure if anyone's playing these, but... I've updated MIKE1.RTL file to include a second level. The new version is http://mikemiller.net/rott/MIKE1_V2.RTL
