I have the Dark War CD (version 1.3) but because I had problems installing that one on my latest computer, I downloaded Dark War from the 3D Realms online store.

Heh, my version is 1.2. Wonder what versions everyone else has/had.

I'd like to know if the different releases like 1.2 and 1.3 would work in a comm-bat. Wouldnt know, since I havent been able to get a comm-bat working.

Yes you have.
You and I played it once (but the network lag made it virtually unplayable).
